Cookie practices

This page explains how proxy-servicehub.digital uses cookies and similar storage. It sits alongside our privacy notice. Last updated 13 August 2026.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Local storage is a related browser store. We use both for a narrow set of jobs: remembering your cookie choice, keeping the site usable, and — only if you accept — understanding which programme pages people open.

Types we use

Essential. These remember that you accepted or rejected optional cookies and keep basic site functions working (for example loading header and footer partials). They are not used to build a marketing profile. The site remains usable if you reject analytics.

Analytics. These help us see aggregated page use (for example whether the flagship syllabus is read more often than pricing). They run only after you press Accept on the banner. Rejecting them does not block forms, pages, or enrolment enquiries.

Cookies table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
proxy-servicehub-cookie-consent Stores your Accept or Reject choice for optional cookies so the banner does not return every visit. Until you clear site data (localStorage) Proxy Servicehub (first-party)
ps_session Optional essential session marker if the host enables it for load balancing or security. Not used for advertising. Session (deleted when the browser closes) Proxy Servicehub / hosting provider
ps_analytics First-party analytics flag used only after Accept, to count page views in aggregate. 6 months Proxy Servicehub (first-party)
_ga / similar Third-party measurement identifiers, loaded only if we enable an analytics vendor and you have Accepted. Not loaded after Reject. Up to 14 months (vendor default) Analytics vendor, if configured

How to manage or disable cookies

Use Accept or Reject on the first-visit banner. Your choice is stored under the brand-prefixed key proxy-servicehub-cookie-consent. To decide again, clear cookies and local storage for proxy-servicehub.digital and reload the page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and others each have a privacy or cookies panel).

Blocking all cookies, including essential ones, may stop the banner from remembering a Reject and may affect how some browsers cache pages. Programme content and the contact form are still intended to work.

Third-party cookies

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Font requests may allow Google to see your IP address and user agent; they are not our analytics cookies. Images may load from public image hosts (for example Unsplash). Those hosts have their own privacy notices. If we later enable a third-party analytics or video embed, it will appear in the table above and will respect the banner: Reject means we do not initialise that optional tag.

Impact of disabling

Rejecting analytics means we will not use optional measurement cookies to understand which syllabus pages you read. You can still browse programmes, read the journal, and send an enquiry. Essential storage for the banner choice remains so we do not keep asking. If you disable all site data, you may see the banner again. Disabling third-party content (fonts or images) may change how pages look but does not change enrolment terms.
